So, while looking online for a cheap place to get myself a new lab coat (I seem to have sort of worn mine through in places again, I'm sorry Clarice, would you mind taking a new one in for me?) I stumbled across some rather... interesting sites.
And by interesting, I mean I may or may not have scarred myself against the medical profession for life.
It ends up that someone created the brilliant idea of goth naughty nurse costumes. Not only that, but you can choose for them to come in regular cotton like substance, or vinyl. One really has to wonder how that sell came about...
"But my Princess of Darkness, don't you want to be my Nurse Feel Good?"
"Moonbeam, you know I don't wear white. Or... cotton. It is only ridiculous man made fabrics and dead cows or plastic that resembles dead cows for me!"
There is, however, this lovely little black name tag along the lines of "Dr. Anita Lay" that I clearly must possess. Until it arrives, I will try to survive with suggestive handy girl iconage.
...wait, I just negated my sarcasm with a truth, didn't I? Shucks.

Grr.
My Googling skills are not great, but I can see if I can find it for myself... and for Amanda. ;>

Date: 2005-08-17 02:44 am (UTC)It passed, I didn't act on it.
Go me!
Manuel
PS - However, I am still trying to figure out if I'm being silly or if someone else is silly and this is just spillover.
Re: For a split-second...
Date: 2005-08-17 02:47 am (UTC)I was being silly then I abruptly stopped, therefore this is either an aftershock type thing or all you.

*laughs* Well, if it's in the interest of curing a phobia...

Date: 2005-08-17 10:05 am (UTC)what's worse, is that you can buy these materials and patterns for these costumes at any fabric shop. and they think people who sew are so wholesome and matronly. shyeah right! they just don't want to get caught with dirty shopping on their credit cards!

Date: 2005-08-17 08:29 pm (UTC)I wouldn't worry unless you see me coming in with lots of pleather and vinyl from the store. although you might want to overlook the glittery spider mesh I found for halloween!
