Oh my God.

May we pleasepleaseplease order this if only for the absurb amount of innuendo and catching bizarre people that you would never think of using it? That and so every time I walk past the DVD collections I can burst out laughing?

Please? This is possibly this greatest thing in the world. Oh, my lungs. I really can not feel my lungs...

edit: Oh wow, it comes with wallpaper too! Yes, you too can have rainbowstriptease!Carmen on your computer!

Don't you already own this?

[identity profile] x-empath.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought Angelo got it for you over holidays.

If he hadn't, he should have. You have the build to be a stripper. Of course, in my experience most stippers are coked-out whores, so maybe not so much on that angle, but the physical skills?

They're pretty easy. I could do it, you could do it, Kitty could certainly do it.

Manuel? That's NOT what I meant by "if you've got it, you've got to use it".

I will, however, wholeheartedly support the idea of other folks taking advantage of it as an elective course.

Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-empath.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps the instructor should be notified and make this aspect into an elective or something.

Stripping is a rather crude attempt at seduction. I'm an empath - or at least I was.

Seduction is something I knew a thing or two about.

In all seriousness - I haven't seen the discs so I can't comment on it - what's wrong with stripping?

Manuel

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, nothing at all. *YOU* stripping, on the other hand, some of us would not like as a mental image distracting us from some of the OTHER options.

Re: Don't you already own this?

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm quite positive I do not own this. Nor have I had any sudden cravings for poles or shirts tied in a knot under my breasts, so I don't think anyone is playing it for me while I sleep.

What exactly is the build of a stripper? I'm so afraid to ask but my curiousity seems to have got the better of me.

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, Forge. You are so swell, such a boy and totally aware of it all at the same time. Please stay around.

Slender.

[identity profile] x-empath.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Muscular. Graceful. Agile. And probably a lot of other words like those that I don't know right now.

Like so much else in life, a lot of it is attitude and personal carriage.

You could do it if you could bend your mind around the concept.

Manuel

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Does this mean you're considering it? Let me talk to Mr. Summers and see if I can shift my class schedule around...

You're being transparent.

[identity profile] x-empath.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
You do know this, right?

If you wanted to ogle pretty girls, there are much safer and more pleasant ways.

Manuel

Guilty as charged

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Again, I find myself deferring to the master of the subject. Maybe you ought to teach a class.

Speech class.

[identity profile] x-empath.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Used to be taught by ... crap, I can't remember.

Don't know who has the class now. The whole point of it was how to be obvious without being obvious about it, how to talk to people, how to move, how to act.

That sort of thing. All of it without powers.

Manuel

Re: Speech class.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Interesting.

Re: Speech class.

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
For the record, the class was taught by Ms. Frost - she is on extended hiatus and only does a few off-campus seminars now.

.. And you failed it miserably.

Which reminds me. Manuel? Do you recall how to play poker?

Re: Slender.

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm blushing. Thank you. I hardly think of those words associated with myself. Perhaps muscular in my legs, but that's about it.

But I really don't need the money, and I'm naked enough with my mutation, so I think I'll stick to the superhero gig instead. And look, I get to keep the leather suit!

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Transparent or not I'm secretly enjoying it in a never going to happen sort of way.

But that's a secret you should probably keep unless you don't like your teeth in your mouth or reproductive organs attached to your actual body.

[identity profile] x-forge.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah yes, I've already had the "Kentucky brother" talk. le sigh. Ours shall be a forbidden romance evermore.

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Did you get it directly from one of my darling siblings, or are there rumours already? Or both? Knowing this school, entirely possible.

We shall have epic poems written about it, I'm sure. It's too bad we don't know who wrote Beowulf; I'm sure they'd be up for the challenge so long as we let them put in a limb tearing off scene.

I did?

[identity profile] x-empath.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
CRAP!

Note to self: Next time I get the urge to expound on something I remember - don't. I'll just make myself look foolish.

I hate looking foolish.

Poker? I'm not sure, really. Stop by sometime with a deck and some chips, and we'll see.

Manuel

For a guy with big pink feathers, your little brother can be somewhat intimidating, yes.

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I must admit, he has perfected his steely glare since last I saw him. Not to mention his guitar over the head could certainly deal some sort of damage. Good thing he's so fond of it.

Re: I did?

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Would you mind if I had Doug come by? He is better at it than I am, and if you do not remember, far better at teaching it than I would be.

Drat.

[identity profile] x-empath.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose so, although I was somewhat hoping for the company of a pretty girl for a few hours.

The company of a prety boy doesn't hold as much appeal right now. But if he'd like to come over and see if I remember how to play poker, I'll be in my suite's common room for a time this evening.

Perhaps around eight or so?

Manuel

Re: Drat.

[identity profile] x-tarot.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Doug is -very- pretty. ;) I can come with him - actually, I think...

if you can wait until tommorow, and have a supply of small snacks (generally, 3-4 different kinds, or 3-4 different sizes.), then we can probably have you sit in on the pick-up casual game in the rec room.

The conversion of snacks to chip values tends to change from player to player, but it adds another dimension to the game.

Okay, dude. Remember what I said the other night?

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-icarus.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Dammit. I should've dressed up as El Kabong for Halloween.

Um...

[identity profile] x-cannonball.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
While I'm pretty sure that you're just being silly...

Gee? What the -heck-? Are you sure you're not... working too hard, maybe?

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Darn, I clearly need to watch more television. Who?

Re: Isn't there a Dance class already?

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, now I'm curious. Yes, dude. Do you remember what he said and could you possibly recite it for me?

Re: Um...

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Nonono. Of course not. I never work too hard.

Clearly I'm on drugs.

shirts tied in a knot under my breasts

Boys get to go shirtless in the hot hot summer and this or tube tops (EW) are the best we get. Alas.

That said, you're a strange, strage girl. -g- No wonder I'm so fond of you.

Why is Manuel discussing whether or not I'd be able to pull of stripping?

Re: Don't you already own this?

[identity profile] x-foliate.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
It is a sick, sad world out there and heck yes I am.

Because you're attractive, I'm assuming. You'd probably have to ask him. Or don't ask him now that I think about it; there are so many things that could go wrong with that question.

Yes, yes there are. -g-

Damn, I knew I forgot something...

[identity profile] x-pete.livejournal.com 2005-01-19 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I was going to dragoon LeBeau into helping me teach a variant on it, now Emma's not about. I forgot. I'll see if I can come up with something for later in the semester, for interested parties.

And! The Frito Bandito! I remember those cartoons! I used to watch those on days off from school if I was sick or if it snowed.

*blinks* Are you hitting on my boyfriend with your boyfriend? *grins* There could be oils of some kind involved... ;)

And I think I might wander over to the common room next time a game's on. Need distracting from the news coverage.
